As
an "official" Baby Boomer, having turned 50
last year, I took a self-imposed sabbatical to decide
what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. Guess that's
not so different from other Baby Boomers who arrive at
the half-century mark a little shocked, wondering where
the first 50 years have gone and what awaits in the next.
Teri's Serendipity: Where Baby Boomers Make Peace
with Their World, is the result of my musings. It's
a place I created for Baby Boomers to share writing
I feel passionate about with those of you who are going
through the same things, whether it be Empty Nest Syndrome,
weight loss, losing parents and friends, or not having
enough time to really shop the nearest Wal-mart.
We Baby Boomers are in this together, trying to come
to grips with being in our 50s and not having the world
laid out at our feet the way we thought it was destined
to be. But no one should give up on us yet.
